The MCAS Miramar Air Show in 2011 — The theme for the 2011 MCAS Miramar Air Show is A Salute to San Diego: Birthplace of Naval Aviation 1911-2011 in honor of the centennial of both Naval and Marine Aviation. The world-famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be back for what is sure to be another thrilling performance. Additionally, there will be an amazing line up of military and civilian performers, including the AV-8B Harrier, the F/A-18 Hornet, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the MV-22 Osprey and the Marine Air Ground Task Force Demonstration Team.
